The story on the dial
The dial reproduces the Genoese Lighthouse of Mangalia after a drawing by a local artist. The drawing is taken up in a modern manner, with varied textures and a transparency that recalls stained glass. The silver elements are engraved by hand, and the movement shows through the open dial. It is a ladies' watch, 40 millimetres across, on a stingray leather strap.
