What data is collected, and why
The site has no user account, no shopping basket, and it processes no payments. Data reaches the workshop in one way only: when you write or call.
When you write to the workshop's email address, it receives the name, the email address and what you write in the message. The purpose is one: to be able to reply. If you call, the name and the telephone number are kept, as far as they are needed to carry the conversation on.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, because answering an enquiry is a pre-contractual step taken at your request. Where the enquiry does not lead to a contract, the basis is the workshop's legitimate interest in replying to the correspondence it receives, under point (f) of the same article. Your consent is not requested, because consent is not the basis.
Who else sees the data
The provider that hosts the site and the provider of the email service have technical access to the data transmitted, within the limits their operation requires. The workshop does not sell data, does not rent it out, and does not pass it on for marketing purposes. The data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.
The fonts the site uses are hosted on its own server rather than loaded from an outside provider. Opening a page therefore passes the visitor's IP address to no third party.
How long it is kept
Correspondence about an enquiry that does not lead to a commission is kept for at most two years from the last message, after which it is deleted. If the conversation does lead to a commission, the data is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the periods required by tax and accounting law.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, as well as the right to object to processing, under Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Requests go to the email address above and are answered within one month at most.
If you consider that the processing breaches the regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, dataprotection.ro.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. The private sections of the site hold their content encrypted at rest, with a key derived from the password in the visitor's browser; the password does not reach the server and is not stored there.
