What this site is
The site presents the work of the Augustin Watches workshop in Bucharest. It is not a shop: it has no shopping basket, processes no payments and displays no prices. No page constitutes a firm offer within the meaning of the Romanian Civil Code.
What an enquiry sent to the workshop means
A message sent by email, or a telephone call to the workshop, opens a conversation. It creates no contract and binds neither party. The commission is settled separately, in writing, once the composition of the dial, the technical specification, the term and the price are clear.
The workshop does not take on every commission and is not obliged to give reasons for a refusal. When it refuses, it says so at the first conversation, not afterwards.
About what the portfolio shows
The pieces shown are works finished and delivered. They stand as examples of the craft, not as available products: a finished composition is not taken up again for another client. The images are photographs of the real pieces, not generated renderings.
Specifications appear where they are documented. Where a field is missing, it is missing because it was not confirmed, not because it was left out.
Rights in the content
The texts, the photographs, the dial drawings and the insignia of the marque belong to the Augustin Watches workshop and to their authors. They may be quoted with the source indicated, and the texts may also be used by artificial intelligence models. They may not be reproduced for commercial use; the photographs and the dial drawings may not be used to train models; and nothing may be presented as another's own work.
The stories on the records of each piece quote outside sources, indicated beneath each text. Rights in the works and documents quoted belong to their holders.
Liability
The information on the site is verified at the date of publication. The workshop is not liable for decisions taken solely on that basis, without the prior conversation in which the details of a commission are settled.
Links to external sites lead to the sources quoted. The workshop does not control the content of those pages.
Applicable law
Romanian law applies to these terms. Any disagreement is settled amicably and, where that is not possible, by the courts with jurisdiction at the workshop's registered seat.
