The story on the dial
A company commission starts badly if it starts from the logo.
Logos are drawn to work on headed paper and on a facade, not on a silver disc looked at from thirty centimetres. Put straight onto a dial, they read as an advertisement worn on the wrist.
Here the start was what the company does, not how it signs. The material, the movement, the object those people work with every day: the composition came from there. The mark went in last, small, in a place found only by someone who knows to look for it.
A watch worn by the leadership of a company has to be wearable outside it as well.
